About Donna D’Amato

Donna D’Amato is the founder of Intercoastal Consulting.  She is a finance and accounting executive with a proven record of managing financial affairs, developing and implementing financial and operational controls in non-profit organizations.

Donna wants to ease the burden of accounting/bookkeeping for nonprofits, by removing complexities and providing information in a clear and transparent manner, allowing her clients to focus on their organizations mission.

As a financial and strategic director, she focuses on day-to-day accounting operations, audit, compliance, budget development and management. She provides excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders. She is knowledgeable in a variety of accounting systems such as Financial Edge, QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics SL, and Costpoint and helps her nonprofit clients choose the right accounting system for their needs.

Donna is on the Board of Directors for Increasing HOPE, a nonprofit Financial Training Center, is a member of Charleston Leaders as well at Lowcountry Professional Networking Group.

Donna lives in Mount Pleasant with her family and two dogs.  She loves going to the beach, reading and visiting all the great restaurants in the Charleston area.
